Everything a Calo student needs, in one place

Project description

Calo is a faculty of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, focussing on sports and movement. The client needed a central place to provide students with information about the first year of their study. This information ranged from contact information to quick links, and from rosters to general information.

We designed and built a simple and easy-to-use website that is a breeze to use, and has over 100 weekly users.

Information for nerds

The client did not have any technical requirements for this project, which gave us the freedom to choose whichever combination of tools we found the best. We use frontend framework Nuxt, which is based on Vue. The data that is displayed on the website comes from a backend that is developed by us as well. We use an SQL database in combination with a PHP backend to retrieve all the information from the database. All the information is loaded onto the website dynamically. This gives the Calo the opportunity to adjust the information that is displayed on the website quickly and easily. The client is very happy with the result, and the website currently has about 100 weekly users.
